How does missed event insurance work?

Eventim offers, in cooperation with Trygg/Hansa, cancellation insurances for tickets. The insurance fee is 7,2 percent of the ticket price (incl. fees). If you choose to add this insurance, the system automatically calculates the cost and adds this to the order.

The cancellation insurance covers amongst other things:

  • You get ill or injured before the event
  • Illness, death or injury of companions
  • Illness, death or injury of family, incl. stepchildren and half-siblings
  • Fire or burglary in your home or business just before the event start
  • Divorce or separation
  • If you unexpectedly lose your job less than three months before the event
  • The ticketholder fails an exam and have to take a resit.

PLEASE NOTE: The insurance does not apply if you, without a valid reason, no longer want to attend the event.
